The Singing Bone
During my sophomore year at SJU, I wrote an orchestral tone poem based on the Grimm Brothers' tale of the singing bone. My piece won first place in the James and Paula Nelson Young Composers Competition and was performed by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra.
